On behalf of the intermunicipal Leiedal, SAQ build a sustainable business complex at the entrance of the industrial park Esserstraat.

The business complex consists of a flexible and adaptable range of modules in which small and starting companies can establish. The modules vary in size and can be adjusted according to the needs of any business.

SAQ developed a concept of modularity and individual configuration for the façade. When purchasing a module, the company can configure its ‘own’ façade within a modular framework using various façade elements such as gates, doors, windows and showrooms.

The modular framework guarantees the esthetics and sustainability of the overall façade whichever choice made by the owners.

The concept gives the building a unique representation consisting out of the individual characters of each company.
